Paving above the dpc ? - Diyer

Is there a work around laying paving above the DPC in this day and age ? Paint, Sealants and Simply ?

Possible colourless and jet wash proof...

The easy way paint bush joby...

Haven't we been to the moon and back surly...

we do it when building disabled ramps that must be flush to threshold but it involves cutting out brickwork and retro fitting cavity trays
so expensive and time consuming
painting stuff on doesnt work long term

Was thinking about a simply gravel pit against the house (12 inches deep & wide) up to the existing one brick DPC. with a 4 inch gap for the new paving away from the house, sitting above the DPC.

Hoping to allow drainage and splash back...

Notes

Existing paving was done to one brick below the DPC, no signs of damage...

The entire length of the house wall (apart from step) will have/has very large window box & dual stepped planter boxes, these will both collect water and provide shielding. Which was not intentional just like to grow fruit...

Should I decide to sell, paving can be moved if picked up in a survey...

Am simply after both a flat level to walk out onto and raise the slightly sunken garden that I have...
