Carpave - Unfamiliar material

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

I'm familiar with HRA, SMA, Bitmac and so-on, but recently from a couple of contractors I've heard talk of carpave and I've no idea what that might be - nor have I had any real luck with Captain Google. What would youse understand carpave to be?

Sounds like a supplier-given name for a generic driveway surfacing material to me.

Of course you're probably right, it was just that in all my vast six year's experience in the field I'd never heard of it! We don't have a huge number of suppliers in Scotland so if someone had named a product up it would catch on pretty quick. Perhaps I should just ask Breedon.
