Guys,

I am trying to estimate the cost of fuel for the following items of plant:-

Excavator 16T
Dumper 4x4 articulated
Roller 9T

Could anyone give an idea on daily consumption rates on the basis the piece of equipment is fully utilised over a 10 hour day?

Thanks for your help.

The 360 will burn 90-120 litres work dependent,

What's the dumper doing? Long runs on the flat or up steep hills in heavy going overloaded? Full tank of 60 litres on our 6 ton dumped runs it for 2-3 days

Roller at 70 % revs I'd say 15 litres a day

Not sure you would run a 9 ton roller on 3 gallon a day.

Its a bit like how long a piece of string I do tend to over estimate as I would rather bring some back than run out, :D
