Hi
Hoping the collective wisdom can help
I am planning on laying limestone slabs down the side of my house. Current mishmash of slabs and Tarmac has slight fall away from house towards the fence and neighbours path which is lower. I have down pipe/ surface water gullies alongside house and DPC is about 90cm high from existing surfacing. I am uncomfortable with draining water towards neighbour but should I reverse the fall towards my rainwater gullies?
Uncertain on drainage/ fall direction

Absolutely although some of the water runs off to the fence at present I would rather deal with it properly hence the question. Yes the DPC is that high, house is built on a hill. It is a semi detached with both of us on the same floor level, my neighbour can walk straight into his front door mine is up four steps!
I have just built an extension to the rear and this involved new soak away etc for new down pipes so rainwater gullies are all connected.
Should I work with the natural lie of the land or try to change it?
