Separates drive from public path. Customer having new concrete dropped kerb put in when it's done that will finish flush with flat top.

What would you recommend instead ?

Did you use a rubber mat on your wacker plate to stop the cracking?

patios unless they are seriously simple dont come much under 3-4k now
1500 quid doesnt even cover our wage bill for a week

Brilliant Job there Michael.

I went to re price a job today that I priced up for 2 years ago when I first started on my own.
350m2 in total
106 in textured paving.
244 in 60mm 200x100 blocks.
There is also 30 meters of key kerbs, 250 bricks and 19 meters of flat top edgings.
I'm glad they decided to wait when I put in a price of Â£18500.
The new price is more like Â£29000.
My business would have gone under before it started.

Finished the paving on this one today. Just need a good clean up and spread some gravel in the morning then its on to the next one.
