Thanks Micheal.

I know Dempsey. I'm just glad I did the drawing because if I didn't then there now would be a dispute.

some people are never happy no matter what you do
always best to itemise everything down to the last flag as this is hard evidence when they start
the time i get a wave of the hand with " just a little bit extra for the bins -we have 4 round here) and that little bit is 4.2M2 with lots of digging and cuts
when you say £400+vat
they say "for a bin store???"
no its not a bin store its more paving LOL
nice drawings sy
cheers LLL

Our current job has run over too, seems to be the in thing atm. Our main issue was muck away! in the end we had to use 3 different firms as no one wanted to come and fetch out stuff, even when it was 5 loads. The Job was 10 miles outside Bedford and 6 outside Rushden, apparently too far out of the way!

Ill upload some pics when we are done!

Jobs looking good Sy, What program do you use for your designs?

I think that they are happy with my workmanship but now they can see how the design looks on there garden it seems smaller to them than they had imagined.
None of that is down to me as I explained to them very clearly exactly how everything would work and spent a lot of time with them getting ideas of what they would like in there garden.
One of them said it's hard to picture how it would look on the garden when your looking at the drawing.
I thought to my self how?
You can see that the main part of the patio runs in line with the start of the bay windows, the circle comes out near the pergola and the footpath goes around the conservatory nicely. What isn'tisn't there to understand?
I didn't say any of that though. I just got my tablet out that has the sketchup viewer app on it and said "this is the design that I showed you and that we agreed on and they couldn't argue with that.
He did say that I should have emailed him the design to look at more closely so I said you didn't ask. As I said before I spent more time than most would going through it all with them before we started.
I'm just hoping once it's finished he'll like it.

The program I use is sketchup8 Kiran. ItIt's free and easy to use mate.

Fantastic work Dempsey. Lines, levels and cuts are all spot on.
I really like how you have used the bricks on the borders with the light granite.
Spot on all round.

I'm looking for Superlatives. Bloody fantastic work. The finish is outstanding. Amazing attention to detail on all the cuts, curves and pointing. Keep the photos coming because that's a great example to any landscaper/client/whoever, of what good should look like.
Is that Yorkstone in the circle?

Cheers lads

It's not York stone Steve, it's from Natural Paving they call it York mix. Setts/blocks are the same stone on the drive but tumbled.
