0-10mm graded limestone is different to ballast ??

Other groundworks tasks, such as roads and footpaths, terracing, fencing, foundations, walls and brickwork, tools and plant.

not being stupid am I :D I ordered a tonne of sand and 10 25 kg bags of 0-10mm Graded Limestone ive got the sand on the drive but next to it 10 bags of ballast ??? im not being thick here am I :p last time I had some it sure as hell wasn't ballast says 3/8 to dust on the invoice

ballast is a mix of sand and stone
0-10 mm graded limestone should be that

emailed them yesterday and they rang me said he would get back to me he didn't so I just rang and he said because I emailed he would email back :p I don't want this crap yet hes telling me its the same even when I told him the bag says its ballast a blend of gravel aggregates and sand :rock:

ive no use for the ballast and im right pissed off I wanted the limestone as "ballast" for the model railway :(

Michael where you base I have 100s of ton of red/pink 4-10mm lime you and have that amount for free if you collect.
Been in concreting for 22 years
