Hi folks,just about to start on a driveway,and was thinking do you need some kind of licence for a mini digger hire? thanks in advance Gerry.

Not if you are working on your own property. If you are working on someone else's property you will need insurance (public liability) and if you are working on a recognised building site, you will need a Plant Operator's Licence.
