Hi looking for advice on which is the best path to go regarding hiring more staff, CIS seems the best way but looking to retain good staff and I think they would prefer to be on the books.
Any advice/experience would be great
Thanks
Peter

Peter
we used to have lads on the cards/books and they hated it
ok so they got 20 days paid holiday and a bit of sick pay but the overall wage reflected that
so now they are all subbies and they get a lot better money, plus get a tax rebate once a year
also they are free to freelance for other people as they are not tied to us
previously it caused a lot of bad feeling with lads doing *privates * with the firms tools vans etc
hope this helps
