my daughter is mad to go to florida this year but the flights in school holidays are a grand a pop,plus I dont like being on holiday at school holiday time as thats when the roads are the quietest

did you rent a villa or a Winnebago

You must go Tony, its a wonderful place. Close friend of ours has an RV out there, so they stayed in that and we stayed in the Days Inn which is about 100m away. We stayed in Clearwater which is a great place.
Xmas eve we all jumped in the RV and journeyed the 200 miles to Daytona and stayed in a beachfront rv site, it was great!
Us boys went to Daytona Speedway and had a drive/ride in NASCAR's which was great fun.

I didn't like the look of the traffic queues into Disney/International Drive etc as we drove through Orlando though......
