Image first day on job contractor did a runner ribble reclamation recomended us to sort out regency wall about to fall over Imageelectric hi and dry Image wall falling over after 130 years or more 7 foot x 2 foot portland stone copings holding wall together we had to cut them down insitu to safely lift of Image wall fell over after cutting copings Image9 m3 leanmix concrete laid on wet london clay Image laying the rest of leanmix Imagelean mix laid and bricks cleaned and stacked setts arrived on site no room to move Image

Thats some nice sett work.

Do you know where i can get some decent setts near Wetherby? i only need about 90 linear meters but my usual supplier wants £140+vat a bag.

i use them on most jobs but their getting like rocking horse shit.

cheers house is in Peckham rye one side Georgian houses opposite side dell boy villas maisonettes and high rise house still worth 3.5 mil 600 meters to Peckham high St. through flats :D big yin was not a fan of starting it with handle :p

there were ten houses in a row they all had them very awkward to build bottom of wall 15 inch back plum for about 2 foot front leaning in slowly was not tied together bond was mix of flemish all snap headers top end battered more we used stainless steel ties to help copings hold it together .was very happy footing and bottom half of wall was good /i thought it would be a nightmare but rebuilt in two days then put copings on next day .every one man and his dog were asking me to do work for them :p

we've got two of the belles one is electric start diesel and other is 110v

110v doesn't like starting up though sometime have to help the drum to start great mixers though for that kind of work

Very nice job Cooky, this is near me. I've driven past it a few times and wondered why it had been left excavated for so long, now it makes sense. How come they dug out so deep? Must have been a nightmare road to work on... very tidy job though

road was a nightmare would say lack of exp but they did okay job on patio at rear in reclaimed york and pointing of house 9 m3 leanmix concrete fixed it could not use type 1 ground to wet had to put down semi dry and use plank to level walking on them whacker would have been no go :p
