In July of this year I had 144 slabs laid in my back garden. After the recent frost and little snow we had i discovered that more than half of the slabs laid had started to disintegrate. The surface of the slabs were flaking exposing the lower layer. I have tried to attached pictures but cannot see how to do this..
I have called the people that supplied me with these and they already have started to make excuses that i must have scraped these during the frost that is why they have started to flake or scale.
Has anyone come across this type of problem before? I have read a little and as I am no expert it does seem to point to the way these slabs were manufactured that has not quite gone correct.
Can anyone give their advice on this please. Is there any cure ? as I feel the supplier will not want to replace about 60 of these which have been effected.
