I'm off to California soon to set up a paving plant - should I post travel updates too? ;)

Well you started it !

I was supposed to be back off home to Ireland tomorrow (no need to guess what the weather would be like!) but problems here at Borlochs Hall mean I'm condemned to stay in Blighty for a while longer before getting the chance to top up my Guinness levels and buy in new stocks of Barry's Tea and decent sausages.

Mind you, I was jet-lagged for two days after getting back from Ashington last Friday - perhaps it's a good job I don't lead Sim's international lifestyle.

And where's me postcard, Sim??

Dubai? Samantha's right, Simeon needs bringing down a peg or two. Who can compete with that level of one-upmanship?:p

Need someone to carry your bags, Simeon?

Did you? Actually I've had my lunch and several cups of tea since your last posting, so if the answer's "Yes", maybe we can make it another day?

Simeon, you're in danger of being accused of showing favoritism. I've not seen you flirt with any of the other posters here!

Talking of posters, wouldn't it be fun if one day we had a Pavingexpert Reunited day, when we all got together and put faces and personalities to the names! Obviously we would need a central venue, and I would offer Ronacrete's offices in Harlow which is much easier to get to than other places (for me anyway!). Or how about Tarmac Lady's offices (in Florida?). Just a thought.

We could all pay homage to Tony McC and applaud him as he bought us our first round!
