Sbr - what brand?

Was about to buy some SBR from amazon until I read reviews and a reviewer mentioned make sure you get right stuff, ie exterior or interior????

Is there two types?

I was going to get everbuild 5litre, £14.35 free delivery, is that a good manufacturer suitable for patio work?

the reviewer is an idiot most likely. pva has waterproof and non waterproof varieties but sbr is all suitable for use outdoors as far as i am aware. B and q sell cementone stuff for about 17 quid. any brand will do fine

Everbuilds sbr is watered down more than others thats why its usually cheaper. The better ones are around the £20 mark for 5 ltrs.

I use either sika or cementone sbr.

Everbuild will do for patio project tho.

Found sika SBR online £12.53 for 5litres.

Can anyone advise how many litres of SBR is needed per square metre of slabs when being mixed with cement painted on backs of slabs as a primer/ bonding agent?

We used Cementone SBR Admixture White 5Ltr from Screwfix which was £19.99 for 5 litres. It worked just fine as a bonding agenet. For a 200 square metre patio constructed from Indian Sandstone we consumed 8 x 5 litres = 40 litres but it was well worth the expense. Regards, Mike
