Wet sand for slabbing under shed base

Alright guys (and gals) I dug out my sub base, whacked down, Type 1 and then screened with sharp sand. All going well until got an emergency phone call so been away for a couple of days. Sand now wet as it has been chucking it down here, what do I do to rectify and dry out (cover with tarp? Cheers for any help
