Limestone paver joints - What materials to use?

Does anybody know what the ideal jointing material for limestone pavers is.
The pavers are 600x400x30mm and were cut with straight edges and rounded rough corners, and have been layed close to each other with approx 0.5mm gap.
Im looking for fine material, ie not sand, something that is close to the white/cream limestone colour ive got.
I have heard of wet grouting but im worried that will cause cracks in the grout once sand base has settled.
Is wet laying limestone dust possible to use? Only thing is I don't know if its sold easily where I am.

Is the gap 0.5mm or 0.5cm?

and the slabs were laid on straight sand with nothing to bind it like cement?
Is it for foot traffic only?

if its 0.5mm then kiln dried sand is your only option

if its 5mm you may be able to use one of the resin mortars but its too small IMHO

Is a worrying line. Was the paving laid on sand? It should have been laid on a full bed of mortar.
