Hi folks. Really new to this and looking for some advice. I have just replaced some very old broken clay drainage with new plastic. I'm just about to backfill the new pipe work but was wondering if it is ok to use the soil that I removed as it is mainly clay? Should I use something else? Any advice greatly appreciated.

100 mm 10 mm shingle all around the new pipework, any other back fill depends on the finish
if it is a paved area should be type 1
if it is a garden terram then soil
