Hi Guys
I have got to put a concrete disable ramp in a property but would mean going above air bricks, any advise please very welcome, the ramp is abour 13mts long leading up to the door about 4 courses high.

we have come across this loads of times loudog
if the ramp goes directly where the airbrick is you will need to move the airbrick
if the ramp runs adjacent then you will have to run a slab on edge retainer maybe 150 away from the wall to allow airflow
ballbreaker I know but local authorities are very strict on this stuff

Thank you for your reply. Someone suggested to me to run a pipe from the air brick to the front of the ramp and then install a air brick. The ramp runs adjacent to the house about 10mts up to the front door. If i run a slab as you suggest wouldn't that trap water between the house and ramp? sorry if i am sounding daft.

Hi again, the time has come to carry out the work regarding a concrete ramp. The problem I have is the air bricks on the house. The concrete ramp will be covering these up, I have counted three air bricks, I can't extend them through the concrete as the client wants the face of the slabs covered in soil to have a raised bed. Any advise I would be really appreciate. Many thanks
