Gftk pointing - New product

We're going to be stocking a small range of GftK sweep-in pointing products in a few weeks' time - have any of you used this before? We've got the guys from GftK coming down this week to give us a practical demo and we've got somebody lined up to shoot a little installation video for us. Del has been busy laying setts and a bit of paving into timber frames ready for the demo. Looking forward to it actually, will be good to get out of the office and enjoy the last little bit of summer while the weather is nice!

Have you got Gary Ken from NCCstreetsceen comming , if so you have one of the best comming he will show you everything you need to know to use it correctly , he has been and show me how to use it,top man MSH

Just had the visit from Gary - amazed at how much he knows! It's given us massive confidence in the product range as I can see that Gary has absolute faith in it and is more than willing to carry out site visits etc. should we need it (training for trade clients etc.). Do you use it a lot msh? Any hints and tips?

Cookie is your man for that, think he uses it more than any of us.
Very good products and the price reflects it.

is it the polymeric one bec?

I have done a few with weatherpoint 365 and 16 months down the line they still look good

but so did rompox

I still visit the square in hitchin where the gaffer filmed the 2 part gftk 850 go down and that is rock solid 5 years on

its all better than geo ****

I have converted a few lads lately to 365,the main appeal being ability to install in almost any weather conditions and no staining

Hey Tony, Gary did show us the polymeric one but I don't think it's what we're after. It's a basic DIY product, no real strength so can't be used on driveways etc. It looks like we're going to go with a couple of the two-part epoxy products which are still super easy to use but offer the strength that we need. One of them was the 850 actually so it's good to hear you've got experience of it standing the test of time. Gary reckons he's seen jobs where it's still going strong after 20 odd years.

I think the 2 parter is a quality product that will complement your product range
polymerics have a habit of letting people down and its your name thats at stake

Definitely Tony, we've got to be able to stand by the product. You can't put your name to just anything. The demo area is being observed closely at the moment so we can check for any issues as it cures.
