Cement corrosion - non noble metals

Read a warning on a bag cement a while ago warning of cement corroding non noble metals.

I'm starting planning for winter work and work lined up involving cement, nothing major fences, patio repairs etc...

I'm wary of concreting in fence posts if they're beside underground pipes.
Could also have to put a few slabs round a gas box outside house and pipes are visible before they go underground.

Can anyone advise on a safe work-around other than moving fence post, or what is best practice to eliminate threat of corrosion?

Possibly bring over cautious but better safe than sorry.

all it means is the cement can corrode non ferrous metal

any exterior pipe should be sheathed in something so it shouldnt be a problem

the problem starts with people cementing copper pipes in walls that are not taped up
