as you may or may not know we are building a large double garage
9m by 5.7m
now the architect has shown a slab 100mm thick on 100mm of hardcore
I know this is tosh
I was thinking 100mm type 1,dpm 150mm c30 concrete with A142 mesh @75mm powerfloated
then a crack control joint cut at 4.5m i.e. the centre
dont really want to do 2 bays as will involve 2 pump hires @ £400 a pop
any thoughts from the concrete men??

There's a garage floor spec on the main page it's a lot heavier duty than that I've used it on a big 8x6m garage and won't be going anywhere.
