Hi,
I'm getting to the stage where I can start pointing up my newly laid paving, however now I've read up on it I see that most polymetric jointing sands need a minimum 30mm joint depth. I've laid 22mm sawn sandstone paving on a full mortar bed and whilst I scraped out the joints after placing to some extent I didn't go below the paving depth. Will it be an issue and do I need to drill out the joints to the required depth or is there a particular product that I could get away with using in 20mm joint depths? I've got a power tool with an attachment for sanding out joints but the paving is 60m^2 and I imagine it will be a messy job so would rather not tackle it if I don't have to...
Many thanks!
Ross
