Hi
Brilliant site, it has helped me a lot . I have a couple of questions though, I have tried a search but cant find the specific answers:
I have put down a patio using bradstone old countryside riven.
The thing is they look dirty and as if they have a film of concrete on top of them. I have pressure washed them once and they look brill when wet but when they dry they look a bit washed out. I'm not going to pressure wash them again as I'm aware that they are only economy pressed slabs. My question is should I try a cleaner and if so which one would be best for this type of slab, also is there a sealant that will make them look better once they are cleaned and enhance the colour of them?
The joints vary from small to about 10mm. What is the best way to do them, I've heard 3:1 builders sand to cement and brush it in on a dry day. Is this the best option? How do I make sure I dont stain the slabs? Should I do it after cleaning and sealing them?
I really appreciate your help and this site!
Thanks
Paul.
