I am likely to need to get the internal “spine wall� in a basement underpinned as it just sits on the sand subsoil with no foundations, the bottom of the wall is at the same depth as a quarry tile floor that only has about 1 inch of mortar under it.
I may also need to get the outside wall of the property under pinned as their foundations don’t go much below the basement floor level.
Just what is involved in doing this work? Is this the type of job that I should get a grounds work company to do rather than normal builders? (E.g do I split it from the contract for the loft conversion.)

we work in the stockport area and have just underpinned a house in bramhall, well we've underpinned 1 bought the 2 either side of it and knocked one down and rebuilt on a full piled ring beam then the other side we have underpinned bits of it and sticking a double extension on the back and floggin it and the new build one.
